Music Production for Homeschool Kids (Ages 7–11)

Beginner-friendly,project-based lessons that help your child create real music—without pressure, hype, or expensive gear.

Homeschool Beats Academy Juniors is built for families who want a creative elective that’s structured, modern, and genuinely doable at home.

Choose your starting point below:

• Loop Launchpad (1:1, one session): a low-pressure first step for beginners

• Your First Beat (Junior Edition) (4 sessions): a guided start-to-finish mini-program

• Jr Production Club: weekly creation + sharing with consistent practice

• 1:1 Tutoring: flexible support for specific goals

Not sure where to start?

- Start with Loop Launchpad if your child is curious, brand-new, or needs a confidence-boosting first win.

- Choose Your First Beat (Junior Edition) if you want a short, structured plan with momentum across multiple sessions.

- Join Jr Production Club if your child learns best with weekly routine, community, and ongoing projects.

- Pick 1:1 Tutoring if you want targeted help (skills, workflow, finishing, or troubleshooting).

Not sure where to start?

This is not a "watch videos and figure it out" experience. Juniors lessons are live and guided. Your child will build real skills by completing small, achievable music projects.

You can expect:

- Clear, step-by-step instruction

- A finished export to keep (MP3/WAV)

- Parent-friendly communication and support

- A focus on confidence, creativity, and follow-through

What you need at home

To participate, your student needs:

- A computer (Mac or PC)

- Reliable internet

- Headphones or speakers

- A free Soundtrap account (we'll use Soundtrap for Juniors)

For ages 7–9, a parent/guardian should be nearby to help with basic tech clicks (logging in, audio settings, etc.).

Meet Marc (Teacher + Producer)

I'm Marc—a veteran teacher, DJ, and music producer. I built Homeschool Beats Academy to make modern music creation approachable for homeschool families.

My goal is simple: your child leaves each session having made something real, with a clear next step.

Q: Is this a traditional music lesson?

A: No. This is music production—creating beats and songs using modern tools. It can complement instrument lessons, not replace them.

Q: Do we need expensive software?

A: No. Juniors use Soundtrap, which is free and browser-based.

Q: How do booking and payment work?

A: You'll book a time first. Then you'll confirm by completing payment within the 12-hour hold window.
